Motivation & Focus
My teaching, research, and service work are all motivated by the goal of facilitating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world through rhetorical study and reflection. More specifically, much of my work explores rhetorical strategies for facilitating understanding and empathy across difference, and for inspiring critical examination of relationships.
